Mr. Sadanand.N. Marulkar is the founder promoter of the company, having about 45 years of experience. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1965 from University of Pune. He worked with "Vulcan Laval Ltd". (Swedish Engg. Company in India) in product development group and left the company as "Development Manager".

In 1980, he co-founded "Marsh Engineers" to manufacture Electric Actuators. There actuators were marked to various consultants and end users (Steel Authority of India, NTPC, BHEL etc) throughout India by Blue Star (India) Ltd. During 12 years stint with Marsh Engineers, he received many awards including "National and Presidential awards" for Entrepreneurship in 1984 and 1986. In 1985 the company entered into collaboration with Regelteknik, Germany to manufacture electric actuators.

In 1990 he founded Transpower Equipment to manufacture Gear Operators for Valve actuation. Today Transpower Equipment enjoys a good reputation among the consultants and major valve manufacturers in India, for timely delivery and superior quality.

Mr. Jitendra.S. Marulkar graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 1991 from University of Pune. He obtained post graduation in "Tool Design" in 1993. After working with "Philips (India) Ltd." for 4 years he joined Transpower Equipment in 1998. He is responsible for the overall management of the company.

We have a team of experienced, dedicated and qualified staff to handle Design and Development, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and marketing of our product line.

The company is equipped with Product Design Facilities, manufacturing machines such as Lathes, Drilling, Milling, Grinding Machines, Gear Hobbing machines, Thread Whirling Machine, Broaching Machine, Horizontal Boring Machine, Measuring Instruments, Jigs and Fixtures, Special Hobs, Inspection Gauges, Gear Box Testing Equipment & Painting setup.

Our emphasis is on providing one-stop-source for Design, Development and Manufacturing world-class Quality and competitively priced Gear Operators for the Valve Industry.
